EXELLENCE | Spectrum Glass & Aluminum's commercial work encompasses core and shell work up to 20 stories inclusive of storefronts, curtain walls and skylights of many types. The tenant improvement work can accommodate all specifications in architectural, decorative and standard glazing in either metal or wood systems.

Our projects have taken us from industrial, office, retail and public works to medical, educational and religious developments. We have vast experience handling PLA and PSA contracts associated with public works projects; as well as, the specialty glass products required in hospitals and law enforcement facilities.

After more than 20 years in the glazing industry as a glazier, estimator and project manager, John Licursi opened his own glazing business in Orange County in early 1992. With only 1 man and 1 truck, John ran his business out of a shop consisting of only 800 sq.ft.

At the end of 1994, John had outgrown his place and decided to move to Glendale. The growing business found its new home in a 2800 sq.ft. facility that now housed 6 men, 3 trucks and 3 office personnel.

Although starting his business in one of the most difficult decades since the 70’s, John found himself continuing to grow and gain respect in the industry. By the end of 1998, the need to move on was once again a reality. Finding a centrally located facility in Burbank, Spectrum Glass & Aluminum found its permanent home in a 6000 sq.ft. office and warehouse building. The business was now comprised of 13 men, 6 trucks and 5 office personnel.

This January 2010, Spectrum Glass & Aluminum is celebrating its 18th Year Anniversary. We now have over 25 men, 7 trucks and 12 office personnel and are expanding for more. Not only have we grown physically, we have grown in experience and knowledge. We pride ourselves in being one of the best in the industry and take our business very serious. We are committed to servicing our clients and will continue to grow to meet the demanding needs of the glazing industry.

ESTIMATORS | (click to email us)

Estimators are required to have at least 5 years experience in the glass and glazing industry. Qualified applicants will possess the ability to read blueprints and do material take-offs; have working knowledge of construction schedules and deadlines; have excellent organizational, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills; and be able to multi-task and estimate multiple medium to large scale commercial projects simultaneously. Additionally, candidates must be computer literate; specifically with Microsoft Office, and have a personal commitment to bid accuracy and project securement.

Project Managers are required to have at least 5 years experience in the glass and glazing industry. Qualified applicants will possess the ability to read blueprints and do material take-offs; have working knowledge of construction schedules and deadlines; have excellent organizational, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills; and be able to multi-task and manage multiple medium to large scale commercial projects simultaneously.
